Month of Birthdays!

October is the month of birthdays in our family.

It started with my birthday.  My girls and I did "Painting with a Twist", it was fun and stressfull at the same time, I'm definitly not an artist.  We went to eat at Kyoto, a hibachi grill, then had cupcakes!

Next we celebrated birthdays for 2 nephews and a sister in law. 
Braydens's party was at our house.  We had an "LSU tailgate party".

The Birthday Boy!!

 Papa's birthday was next.  We ate out then had cupcakes.  Everybody needed a candle to blow out.

                          Mackenly's birthday was last.  We had a tea party, and there was lots of pink!

August came and went!

The month of August came, and I started back to work in full force.  Before I realized it , it was already the middle of September. Hopefully cooler weather will come soon, and things will slow down a little bit.  During August, we still had some time to stop and play.

                                      Mackenly and I played dress up and had a tea party.

                             Brayden and I love to play with the tractor and the little people animals.

We went to the movies to see Winnie the Pooh!  Of course we had lots of snacks to enjoy.  The picture with Brayden was a little to dark.  Both were very good, and I can't wait to take them again.

One of my favorite things to do is to read them stories.  This is us reading "If you Give a Pig a Party", and drinking our "night night milk".  They had just both had a bath in Mimi's big bath tub, which is an experience all its own.

July

For the first part of July, John and I had a unique experience to go to Africa on a mission trip.  We were gone for two weeks.  It was awesome, but I really missed my "lttle bits" and couldn't wait to get home to see them and their parents!  While we were gone, they celebrated the Fourth of July in Longville with my parents and sister.

Summer Fun

Since it has been so hot, we bought a water table for the back patio.  They love to play in the water, and love it even more to play in "pawpaw's" sprinkler! Of course everything usually ends up getting wet including me!

Happy Father's Day!

We spent most of Father's Day in Longville at my parents and sister's house. I think great-grandparents spoil even more than grandparents do!  We swam in the pool, ate supper, then sat outside while the "little bits" played and ran around.

                     Brayden and Mackenly are with both of the pawpaws picking some squash.

They each have a bucket and are helping pick some banana peppers.  Brayden calls my dad the "other pawpaw", and Mackenly calls him pawpaw Lowell. 

The Beginning

On October 23, 2008, Brayden John Bellon was born.  Then, a few days later on October 28, 2008, Mackenly Grace LaFleur was born. I became forever known as "Mimi", and my life will never be the same. It was a crazy month, but I wouldn't change a thing.
